Who this covers
Pacto provides ordering software to wholesalers. Each wholesaler uses it to serve their own retail customers through the Order Pacto app.
Your wholesaler decides what information about you is held and for how long. Pacto stores and protects it on their behalf, and does not use it for anything else. If you want your details changed or removed, ask your wholesaler first — they can do it directly, and it is faster.
What the app collects

What it does not collect
- Location. The app never requests it.
- Contacts, photos, or files.
- Advertising identifiers. There is no advertising and no tracking across apps or websites.
- Analytics on your behaviour. We do not profile you.
- Payment details. Orders are placed against account terms you already have with your wholesaler; no card is taken in the app.
The camera
The app asks for camera access for one reason: scanning a product barcode, or the QR code your wholesaler gives you when you first sign up. Images are read on your device to find the code and are never uploaded or stored. Refuse the permission and everything else still works — you can type the code instead.
Text messages
Some wholesalers give you a number to text your orders to. Texting an order to that number is how you opt in. In reply you get one automated text per message you send, confirming it arrived; we send no scheduled or marketing texts. Message frequency therefore depends on how often you order. Message and data rates may apply.
Mobile numbers and text messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is seen by your wholesaler and by the messaging provider that carries the text, and by nobody else.

Who your information is shared with
Your wholesaler, and nobody else. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with other wholesalers on the platform — each one can only ever see their own customers.
If you order by text, WhatsApp or email, the provider that carries that channel (a messaging or email service) handles the message in transit, as any carrier does. They are not given your details for any other purpose.
The service runs on infrastructure providers who store the data on our behalf: hosting and databases in the United States, and file storage for product images. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
How long it is kept
Business details and order history are kept while your account is active, because both sides need the record. Deactivating an account stops access but keeps past orders, which wholesalers rely on for their own accounting.
Push notification tokens are removed when you sign out or uninstall the app.
Your choices
- Notifications. Decline them when asked, or turn them off in your phone’s settings at any time.
- Camera. Decline it and enter codes by hand.
- Corrections and deletion. Ask your wholesaler. If you cannot reach them, contact us at the address below and we will pass it on.
- Leaving. Uninstalling the app removes everything held on your device, including your saved cart.
Children
This is a tool for businesses. It is not intended for anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected or who sees it, the date at the top changes and the previous version is superseded.
